Airport-dle's airport data - names, countries, continents, elevations, and the runway geometry that draws each puzzle's silhouette - comes from OurAirports, released into the public domain under CC0 1.0. Data retrieved retrieved 2026-07-11.
The progressive hint is a rendered runway-layout silhouette drawn from that CC0 runway geometry - there are no photographs, so no image licence applies. It encodes only runway angles and relative lengths (never any name, code, or coordinate).
Each answer's teach card is a short verbatim excerpt from the airport's English Wikipedia article summary, licensed CC BY-SA 4.0; those articles remain the copyright of their authors. The excerpt is shown only after a puzzle is finished, with a From Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0) link back to the source article. Reuse of a teach excerpt must keep that attribution and the same licence.
